Explore nature through hands-on activities and outdoor learning, using your senses to discover a joy and appreciation for nature!

Each week we will investigate a different theme, centered around environmental    education, science experiments, nature walks, art projects, games, and fun! 

Nature Explorers will be held outdoors at Stumpy Creek Park in Mooresville.              (160 Stumpy Creek Rd) 

Themes
  • Into the Woods: May include topics such as plants, bugs, trees, woodland animals, camping
  • Amazing H2O: May include topics such as fish, ducks, birds, water cycle, erosion & pollution, water critters
  • Animal Life: May include topics such as habitats, tracks, adaptations, reptiles, bats

Cost:
$65/week

Campers should:
  • Apply sunscreen and insect repellent prior to camp
  • Wear closed-toed shoes 
  • Bring a water bottle and a snack (please no peanut products)
  • Come ready to learn and have fun!
