Archery Programs

Youth Classes

The Youth Archery Program is taught by USA Archery Certified Instructors and is designed to educate local youths and teens about archery, with an emphasis on safety. Students will learn how to use recurve and compound bows, as well as archery safety, range set-up, and more.

Intro to Youth Archery

Children ages 8 to 17 years old can take this one hour class and briefly learn about archery safety, the parts of the bow and arrow, and how to shoot. This class will be held at Iredell County Recreation Center (122 Grannis Lane, Statesville) and different sessions are available to fit your schedule.

Registration fees are $15 per child and advance registration is required. This fee is for one (1) Intro to Archery session.

Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment, weather, or other circumstances. Refunds will be provided if a class is cancelled by ICPRD.
