Public Notice      

Per G.S.163-165.9(a)(3)(b), the Iredell County Board of Elections will meet on February 24, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.  The meeting will be conducted at the Iredell County Agricultural Building located at 444 Bristol Drive, Statesville, North Carolina.

The purpose of this meeting is to conduct a simulated election for a public demonstration and testing of the following:  ES&S Voting System 5240 and ES&S Expressvote Ballot Marking Device.  The board will also decide whether to make a preliminary recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners for the purchase of this equipment.  The public is invited to be present at this meeting.  Social distancing and wearing a mask will be required.  A virtual invitation for this meeting will be available on the Elections website:  www.co.iredell.nc.us/Elections.  For more information, call 704-878-3140.
