History of the Iredell County Health Department

The Iredell County Health Department was established in 1942.  It is funded with a combination of Federal, State and County monies and is governed by an eleven-member Board of Health appointed by the County Commissioners.  The Iredell County Health Department provides a variety of clinical health care services, screenings and informational programs.
