August is National Immunization Awareness Month
Approximately 75% of babies contract pertussis
(also known as whooping cough) from a household
member, with half of the cases coming from parents.
Pertussis can be a very serious disease, especially in babies.
Make sure anyone that is close to your baby is vaccinated!

Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria & acellular pertussis) vaccine
