Brenda Bell, Register of Deeds Welcome to the Iredell County Register of Deeds website.   The Register of Deeds serves as custodian and manager of a large number of Public Records.  These include legal documents such as Deeds, Deeds of Trust, powers of attorney, maps, etc.  We also issue marriage licenses, certified birth and death certificates, and administer oaths to notaries, military discharges and many others.

We are a service oriented office and here to provide a public service.  Registers of Deeds are elected for 4-year terms by the citizens of the county the Register serves.  I have been Register of Deeds since 1990.  I appreciate the trust and confidence placed in me by the Iredell County citizens.  I am here to provide the office with integrity, completeness, accuracy and efficient safekeeping of the public records.
