The Carolina Thread Trail and the Town of Mooresville have completed a plan for Route Y connecting downtown Mooresville to the county line. The proposed route runs along the Dye Creek and Rocky River and connects to the existing Bellingham Park greenway.
Routes Y, U, and Q (shown in red below) and Routes K, J, and G (in Statesville and Love Valley-not shown) are priority routes identified by the public that planning departments in Iredell County actively work to build.
