After School Program

COMING FALL 2020 for the 2020-2021 School Year!

Need something for the kids to do after school is out?? 

We now offer an After School Program for elementary students at the Iredell County Recreation Center!

Afternoons will include: indoor and/or outdoor games, snack time, quiet/homework time, arts & crafts, and other recreational activities!

Ages: This is open to students in Kindergarten through 5th grade

Times: 2:30pm -6pm

Location: Iredell County Recreation Center, 122 Grannis Lane Statesville (behind the Barium Spring Post Office).

Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Students attending Troutman Elementary School may ride the bus to the Iredell County Recreation Center, for the After School Program.
Due to I-SS and TES requirements, students must be registered for the After School Program at least one week in advance, and complete a Transportation Form.

Parents must pick up their child no later than 6pm.

Dates:The program will start in August of 2020 and will be open each day that students are in school (Iredell-Statesville Schools), weather permitting.

Please note that After School will not operate on days where school is not in session (Holidays or Teacher Workdays), or when school is dismissed early due to inclement weather. Other program options may be available for your child on these days.

Fall registration will open during the summer of 2020!

Pricing and Payment Options

Sessions are priced and registered for by the week, with most weeks costing $50 per student.

Cost: $50 per week. Includes activity supplies, snack, and supervision.

Cost may vary for weeks with Holidays, Early Release Days, Teacher Workdays, etc. Additional charges may apply to include Early Release days. 

Payments options for After School:

  • Full Payment: Complete payment for the session is required at time of registration. Cancellations requested at least one week in advance may receive a partial refund (Full rate paid less a $10 "deposit"). Cancellations requested within one week of the session start are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Payment Plan: A $10 deposit payment is required for the session at time of registration. This deposit is part of the session fee. The remaining balance is due at least one week in advance of the session start. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of a cancellation. Registrations may be cancelled in the event of an overdue balance.
