Cat Spay & Neuter Information
All cats must weigh at least 4 pounds to have surgery and be at least 4 months old.

 Dog Spay & Neuter Information

Dogs must be at least 3 months old. Dogs over 6 years old must have pre-anesthetic blood tests done prior to scheduling surgery. 

Vaccination Requirements
All pets must have a current rabies vaccination. The rabies certificate is required. Tags alone are not acceptable as proof. The rabies certificate must be in the applicant’s name.

 *All surgeries must be pre-paid. No appointment will be made without written proof of the pet’s current rabies vaccination.

Other veterinary services may be available at the time of surgery for an additional fee.

Senior Citizen Discount Available
Owners over 65 years of age receive a discount on the price of surgery. To receive this discount,please visit the Animal Shelter.

Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Program

If you are currently eligible for WIC, Medicaid, or food stamps, the surgery fee is $25. You must be an Iredell County resident.
