Iredell County Parks, Recreation and Facility Services Department has recently accepted a land donation of 19 acres on Deitz Road, from North Piedmont Babe Ruth League. The property, formerly known as Sertoma Park, will be combined with an additionally purchased 49 acres to form Jennings Park, the first county owned park north of Statesville.

Sertoma Park was a baseball complex, located at 141 Deitz Road, Statesville, NC consisting of 19.68 acres.  The facility includes 3 lighted baseball fields, 1 unlit field, a clubhouse and a concessions stand with restroom facilities.

Iredell County Parks and Recreation Department, using funds from the sale of the originally designated North Iredell Park property located on Bussell Road in Olin, NC has now purchased 49 additional acres, adjacent to the newly donated land.  These properties combined will serve as a new park, named Jennings Park.

We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we transition as property owners and prioritize facility improvements and upgrades. During this period, there may be temporary closures of existing amenities as we work to improve the overall project.

We welcome suggestions and ideas from the community about future park amenities and programs.
